Dr. Evan Shields practices at both Cool Springs Eye Care and Donelson Eye Care. Dr Shields is the lead doctor over the Neurolens Program. Dr. Evan Shields grew up in Kentucky. Dr. Shields obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He went to Optometry School in Memphis Tennessee at the Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Shields met his wife in college through mutual friends. Dr. Shields and his wife have three children with one on the way due in December.

Dr. Shields started out in the music business, but decided he wanted to be in optometry during his time shadowing medical professionals in other fields.
